Energy Absorbing Lanyards

The E4 energy absorbing lanyard is designed to reduce the forces on a human body during a fall to less than 900 pounds (4 kilonewtons) and limit the deployment length to a maximum of 42 inches (1067 millimeters). These lanyards have a weight rating between 99 pounds (45 kilograms) and 254 pounds (115 kilograms) for a worker including all tools, clothing and personal protection equipment.

The E6 energy absorbing lanyard is designed for the heavier worker, having a weight rating between 200 pounds
(91 kilograms) and 386 pounds (175 kilograms). The E6 limits the forces to less than 1350 pounds (6 kilonewtons)
and is the only E6 energy absorbing lanyard to have the same 42 inch (1067 millimeter) deployment length as the
E4.

All energy absorbing lanyards are available in a variety of materials including standard polyester, Kevlar®, nylon
rope, cable and maximum visibility webbing. They come in different lengths, with different snap hooks, and in either
single leg or dual leg (Y lanyard) configurations. All meet or exceed CSAZ259.11-05 certification.

MLSY - “Y” Lanyard

The Y lanyard is designed for the worker who needs to be 100% secure at all times when repositioning between anchors. This dual leg lanyard is available in a variety of materials and with many snap hook configurations.

WRL250 - Vinyl Coated Anchorage Lines

The anchor slings are fabricated from galvanized vinyl coated aircraft cable. The Flemish eye splices are finished with pressed steel sleeves and have a minimum breaking strength of 5000 pounds (22.2 kilonewtons).

MRAS - GR100 Rope Grab / Fall Arrester

  • Hands free operation. Internal jaws grip the lifeline in case of a slip or fall.
