Each student attending the course will be educated in the follow subjects; OH&S requirements codes and safe practices, ASME regulations, ratings and removal criteria, the process involved in fabricating chain, wire rope and synthetic slings. Students will also be given an example why damaged slings should be removed from service and the effects of edge cuts, knots, grind marks etc.

- 2:00 pm - Nylon and Round Sling Test and Review
- 2:30 pm - Nylon Sling fabrication demonstration
- 2:45 pm - Wire Rope Sling fabrication demonstration
- 3:00 pm - Nylon Sling break test demonstration
- 3:30 pm - Wire Rope and Chain Sling break test demonstration
- 4:00 pm - Final Test, practical test
- 4:15 pm - Certificate presentation and Final Review
