Edge protectors
20(1) An edge protector shall be used where a tiedown would be subject to abrasion or cutting at the
point where it touches an article of cargo.
(2) An edge protector used between a tiedown and cargo shall be resistant to abrasion, cuts and
crushing.
(3) An edge protector used between a tiedown and cargo shall allow the tiedown to slide freely when
it is tightened or loosened.
